Dear Reader,

I’m making several changes regarding release of new episodes to my You Were Made for This podcast and the weekly blog posts/articles I’ve been sending your way.

But before we get into that, I want to focus on thankfulness. We set aside one day out of 365 to consider this virtue, which clearly deserves more of our attention.

To illustrate this, today’s podcast episode begins with th a quote from Garrison Keillor:

“Old age is the age of gratitude, when I come to appreciate the beautiful details in life such as Lenny our doorman in New York …”

As for the changes I mentioned at the beginning, I’m taking a break from the weekly schedule of creating podcast episodes and articles I post on our website.

This will free up time to work on tasks that have been on the back burner. Some are personal, and others are behind-the-scenes projects to help our ministry grow.

Also, as missionaries contact us for help, as one did the other day, we will continue to care for them as we always have.

And every now and then, I’ll release a new podcast episode or article for our website. You’ll be the first to know about it since you are on my email list.

Plus, I am having shoulder surgery on December 29th, so I will be out of commission for a short time preparing for this, and then the recovery that follows.

Finally, click here to listen to today’s episode, no. 229, “Thankful for Encouraging People.”

Gratefully,

John Certalic
