Maybe the activities of your Christmas Day haven’t started yet. Perhaps you’re in the middle of them.  Or you may have already completed them.

In any case, I hope you can find a place of quiet for your heart to think, ponder, and treasure the true meaning of Christmas. Like Mary did 2,000 years ago.

One thing that helps me do this is to watch one of my favorite YouTube videos of all time. It could help you, too. It’s of a flash mob scene that begins with holiday shoppers eating in a food court at a shopping mall in Canada. Unexpectedly, disguised members of a local church choir pop up from all over and break out in a beautiful rendition of the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah.

Click here to watch it.  It’s a great way to start or end your Christmas Day

And a great way to end this blog post.

But If you’d like more

You can hear or read my observations about this flash mob if you click here. It will taken you back to episode 6 of You Were Made for This from December 19, 2018.

In it I talk about the theme of beauty and joy found in this event.  I share from the local newspaper account of it, including quotes from people who watched the video, some multiple times (like me), and how it moved them, even to tears.

P.S. If you missed last week’s podcast, you may not have heard that Season Two of You Were Made for This ended last week on December 18th. Season Three starts up on January 22. In the interim, I will be sending you my Every Wednesday email. It will offer an insight, thought, or tip to help you find more joy in your relationships.
