Reader, This coming Friday, August 8th, is the fifth anniversary of the death of our friend, Suzanne. I can’t think of August without thinking of Suzanne.
It brings to mind the discussions I had with her husband Martin in those dark, difficult days that followed. Last week, while reading through the Book of Psalms, I came upon a passage that is so applicable to the talks Martin and I had, and to anyone who questions what God is up to in the midst of tragic loss. It’s only one verse, and a poetic one at that that. Sometimes the greatest truths are best expressed in poetry. This is one of those. It's the subject of today’s podcast.
